First meeting of 2020 set for Jan.20

The next meeting of the Jackson County Democratic Committee will be Monday, Jan. 20, at the party offices in The Commercial Exchange, 2301 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson.

The general membership meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be focused on reviewing 2019 and planning for 2020, including a vote on our second consecutive balanced budget.

The JCDC monthly meetings are open to any and all persons interested in helping to build the county Democratic Party and to help elect Democratic candidates.

In order to vote at the JCDC’s monthly meeting, a person must be a member of the Jackson County Democratic Committee for at least 30 days prior to that meeting. Precinct delegates, candidates and elected officials are exempt from the 30-day advance membership requirement but must be a member at the time of the vote.
