The Jackson County Democrats support the ongoing effort to protect the civil rights of everyone under our constitution. Because the Democratic Party has always seen value in diversity, equity and inclusion, we are concerned by the illegal deportations occurring. As everyone is aware, Biden and Obama both removed illegal immigrants in numbers superior to the Trump administration. What many Republicans are not aware of is that those deportations did not require extreme fear, confusion, violence, and bearing false witness.
