The next meeting of the Jackson County Democratic Committee will be Monday, Sept. 16, at its new headquarters in The Commercial Exchange, 2301 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson.

The general membership meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and will consider amendments to the bylaws that have been unanimously recommended by the Rules Committee.
The amendments would update the quorum for an Executive Committee meeting, make JCDC officer elections more transparent, and bring the Jackson County Democratic Women’s Caucus back into the JCDC.
