The coronavirus pandemic has changed so much about our lives in the last several months, including the Jackson County Democratic Committee’s annual FDR Dinner. For 2020, the JCDC’s major fundraiser will go virtual.

While the venue may be different, the spirit and fellowship of the event will not change, so get your tickets now for this Zoom celebration Aug.15 from 7-8:30 p.m.
The evening will feature Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Bridget Mary McCormack and Jackson County Commissioner Daniel Mahoney, as well as a reflection on the past year and the challenges in the year to come.
Order tickets online at actblue.com/donate/2020fdr. Tickets are $15 for an individual, $30 for family and $100 for a sponsorship.
Ticketholders will be emailed a Zoom link so they can join the online celebration. Those who would like to learn more about Zoom or sign up for a free account can do so at zoom.us.

The 63rd annual FDR fundraiser is the JCDC’s primary event to raise money for its PAC, the fund that allows us to provide financial aid to local candidates in this uniquely crucial election cycle.
If our country is to recover from the horrible impacts of four years under Donald Trump, it’s going to require change at all levels, including county government, the state Legislature and Congress, so sign up now help out and join this fun event.
