Jackson County Proposals on the November 4, 2025 Ballot

Good morning, Democrats, it’s Election Day! Don’t think you vote today? Well, you may be surprised! 

Here is a rundown of the mileages on the ballot throughout Jackson County today.

Jackson Public School Mileage – The Jackson Public Schools is seeking to raise $126 million for upgrades and refurbishment of school buildings and other facilities.  If you live in the City of Jakson, most of Summit Township (excluding Vandercook Lake), and parts of Napoleon and Liberty Townships.

Vandercook Lake Schools Mileage – If you live in Vandercook Lake, the Vandercook Lake Schools is seeking to raise $19.5 million for school renovations and upgrades.

Summit Township Road Mileage – Summit Township is seeking to raise close to $500,000 in additional road repair funding. If you live anywhere in Summit Township, you can vote for this mileage.

Waterloo Township Police Mileage – Waterloo Township is seeking to fund police operations in the township for the next 4 years. All voters in Waterloo Township can vote on this proposal.

Hanover-Horton Schools Sinking Fund Mileage – Hanover-Horton Schools is asking voters to reauthorize the mileage for an additional four years starting in 2027. Voters in parts of Hanover, Liberty, Pulaski Townships, and small parts of Summit and Spring Arbor Townships can vote on this proposal.

Stockbridge Community Schools Mileage – Stockbridge Community Schools is looking to raise $15.1 million to renovate and refurbish school buildings, buy buses, and upgrade athletic facilities. Voters in parts of Henrietta and Waterloo Townships can vote on this proposal.

Washtenaw Intermediate School District Area Career and Technical Education Proposal – The Washtenaw ISD is seeking $25 million to fund the building of a Career and Technical Education Center in Washtenaw County. Residents in Waterloo Township who live in the Chelsea School District can vote on this proposal.
