The Jackson County Democratic Committee is providing all Jackson County veterans with an opportunity to attend an open forum at the JCDC office at 134 N. Mechanic St. , Jackson, Michigan. Our topic is local Jackson County veterans’ needs, and how can we addressed them through policy, actions, and volunteerism.
Join us for an opportunity to express your views and help shape next steps for resolving issues.
Guest speaker Eric Napieralski, will provide interactive information to our local veterans.
Based on the statistics referenced below (in the Census Reporter image), we have approximately 8,488 veterans in Jackson County, Michigan, which is a minority status of 6.7% of the total population.
Our proud little county hosts a 20% higher rate of veterans living here, as residents, than the rest of the state of Michigan.
